CNC 5-Axis Machinist | $25.00–$30.00 per hour | Night Shift | 3-Month Contract Assignment
What Matters Most

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM; overtime may be required based on business needs

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC 5-Axis Machinist to safely set up and operate Mazak Integrex machining centers while producing high-precision components. This role requires a strong quality mindset, the ability to hold tight tolerances, and experience interpreting blueprints and using precision measuring instruments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works independently, and is committed to producing quality parts in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and perform first article inspections on CNC 5-axis Mazak Integrex machining centers.
  • Read blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions while maintaining tight tolerances of up to ±0.0005.
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment, identify non-conforming conditions, and make machine adjustments as needed.
  • Load materials using overhead lifting equipment, perform simple program edits, deburr parts, and maintain a clean work area.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures while meeting productivity goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of CNC mill, CNC lathe, or 5-axis machining experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, dial indicators, depth gauges, and profilometers.
  • Knowledge of G & M codes, CNC machine setup, tooling, and machining processes; Mazak experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
