Job description

The Worldwide Public Sector National Security Team (WWPS, NATSEC) is part of AWS Sales which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing market segments in support of the National Security. We work backwards from our customer's most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWPS teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture.

As part of WWPS, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and working across AWS as #OneTeam.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and customer acquisition by managing the full sales cycle for strategic National Security accounts
- Build and maintain executive relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned accounts to understand business objectives and position AWS solutions.
- Develop and execute account strategies that align AWS capabilities with customer mission requirements and drive adoption of cloud services across your territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams including solutions architects, partner teams, marketing, and professional services to deliver comprehensive solutions for high-priority customers.
- Forecast accurately and manage pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, providing regular updates to leadership on deal progression and account health.
- Represent AWS professionally at industry events, conferences, and customer briefings, demonstrating thought leadership in cloud solutions for National Security missions.
