Job Duties and Responsibilities 


The scope of work is for maintenance support, and development of .Net applications necessary to support the current online systems.


  • Deploy the Custom-Developed Applications and continuously monitor their health.
  • Forecast and manage the demand for the applications that are hosted on the Azure/AWS platform.
  • Ensure that Data is secured, access is secured, costs are monitored and controlled, and the applications and data are backed up.
  • Deploy and maintain PaaS & SaaS enterprise application for development, QA, staging, and production environments hosted on cloud infrastructure.
  • Understanding of a multitude of resources and services such as containers, virtual machines, storage, firewalls, network security groups, web application firewalls, vnets, log analytics, sentinel, monitoring, alerting, metrics, Data Factory, Databricks, Active
  • Directory, Data Catalog, Web Apps, Functions, Application Service Environments, Key Vaults, Backups.
  • Manage cloud environments in line with security guidelines.
  • Strong Understanding of Virtual Networks & DNS zones.
  • Develop a library of scripts to automate cloud environments. Identify and generate solutions to current problems in the organization.
  • Aid developers and DevOps teams with implementing automation scripts that follow
    the organization standards.
  • Collaborating with DevOps team members as well as all of engineering
  • Ensure that solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
  • Partner with development team to fully understand product requirements and
    configure the Cloud environments which meet these requirements.
  • Evaluate and automate the scaling and capacity requirements within Azure
    environments. 
  • Create custom scripts to automate support processes where
    applicable.
  • Manage AD infrastructure and collaborate with various teams to ensure it integrates seamlessly with all components including network, security, messaging, and remote access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Azure/AWS environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues.
  • Research, adopt and relate new technologies to solve issues that arise while adhering to company security and standards.
  • Knowledge of networking infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) and protocols (TCP/IP)
    and cryptographic protocols.
  • Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks is required for success at this position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Cloud Active Directory.
  • Azure/AWS Tenant Build Outs experience.
  •  Solid scripting skills are required for success at this position.
  • Experience in working with formal Change Control Systems following the ITIL framework.
  •  Assist with backup and restoration of files, databases, and virtual machines.
  • Mentor, coach, and share knowledge with other team members throughout the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • 7+ years’ experience in MS Azure/AWS cloud architecture
  • Experience and understanding of the main Cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Must be self-motivated and apply knowledge of Azure & AWS to drive solutions
  • support the development team, and create documentation to support and describe technical solutions.
  • Must have high standards of accountability, customer focus, and quality.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.  Or equivalent work experience.
