Job description

Razor is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer/AWS Administrator to provide advanced cloud engineering, enterprise integration, and technical leadership supporting complex U.S. Government cloud environments. This role focuses on designing and integrating cloud-native capabilities, resolving advanced platform issues, and engineering sustainable solutions across containerized, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments. Education & Certification Requirements: Relevant technical education or equivalent professional experience. Kubernetes certifications such as CKAD or CKA are preferred. Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments. A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements. Responsibilities: * Design, implement, integrate, and test advanced cloud-native services * Architect hybrid cloud solutions using containerization, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies * Develop and integrate REST and gRPC services * Lead advanced troubleshooting of cloud software and infrastructure * Develop and integrate enterprise PKI and certificate-management capabilities * Deploy and integrate SQL, NoSQL, in-memory, and object-storage technologies * Engineer service mesh and enterprise messaging solutions * Implement advanced automation using Ansible, Bash, Go, and related technologies * Design monitoring, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing capabilities * Engineer cloud-native storage and container security solutions * Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines * Integrate enterprise cloud networking and network mesh technologies * Support Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments * Provide senior technical guidance across cloud engineering initiatives Qualifications: * 12 years of recent programming or large-scale platform integration/automation experience * Experience designing and developing applications in Linux environments * 5 years of experience with Docker or similar containerization technologies * 7 years of experience deploying applications using Kubernetes or similar orchestration technologies * Advanced cloud-native and hybrid cloud experience * Advanced AWS and multi-cloud experience * Strong enterprise cloud integration and troubleshooting experience * Ability to independently resolve complex distributed-system issues Desired Skills: * Advanced AWS administration and engineering experience * CKAD or CKA certification * Open-source development experience * Advanced service mesh and distributed tracing experience * DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code expertise * Enterprise PKI experience * Experience supporting highly classified DoD or Intelligence Community environments Employer Information: Razor is an EEO Employer.
