Job description

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an AWS Administrator or Engineer, with a strong understanding of AWS services and architecture.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security is the best practices and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with event management with products such as Apache Kafaka and rabbitMQ
  • Proficiency in SQL/InfluxQL, and working with timeseries databases
  • Proficiency with Data Streaming computation products such as Apache Flink
  • Proficiency with GoLang
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Familiarity with Rust is preferred but not required

Education & Experience
  • AWS certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of serverless computing and AWS Lambda.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus, etc.
