Job description

Awardco is already a highly successful and rapidly growing company in the employee experience (EX) space. Earlier this year, we launched Awardco Engage, an exciting new solution that brings our user-focused product approach into the employee listening market. Engage represents a major investment in expanding Awardco's impact on workplace culture and is uniquely positioned to challenge legacy solutions in the industry.
To support this growth, we are seeking an Awardco Engage Sales Strategist to partner with our sales organization on complex enterprise and mid-market opportunities. This role will serve as a subject matter expert on employee engagement and employee listening, helping prospects understand how Awardco can address their most pressing workforce challenges.
The ideal candidate understands both the realities organizations face when measuring and improving engagement and the limitations of current industry solutions. They are energized by commercial conversations and enjoy partnering closely with sales teams to translate behavioral science and employee experience insights into compelling business value for customers.
This role is well-suited for a consultant, organizational psychologist, or experienced HR practitioner who thrives in client-facing environments and wants to influence how organizations think about engagement, recognition, and performance.
The role sits within the Center of Excellence team and will work closely with Sales.
What you will do:
  • Support The Sales Cycle: Join high-stakes sales calls and presentations to act as the subject matter expert on employee engagement and listening.
  • Advise on Deal Strategy: Partner with Account Executives to identify the specific cultural pain points of prospects and propose evidence-based solutions.
  • Elevate Sales Enablement: Support the sales team's enablement through training, coaching, or other means on foundational I/O concepts to elevate the entire department's "people science" IQ
  • Present to Senior Audiences: Deliver compelling, high-impact presentations that establish Awardco as a thought leader in the employee experience space.
  • Provide Insight Into Competitive Landscape: Familiarize yourself with market needs and competitor solutions to effectively differentiate the Awardco platform during the sales process.
  • Understand Client Needs: Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to understand a prospect's current organizational climate and desired future state.
  • Advise on Business Value: Help prospects build internal business cases for Engage by demonstrating the correlation between recognition programs, engagement programs, and productivity.
  • Provide Market Feedback: Act as a bridge between the market's needs and our Product team to ensure our roadmap aligns with industry needs and best practices.

What you will bring:
  • I/O Psychology or Behavioural Science qualification with a deep understanding of Employee Engagement and driver metrics.
  • Experience in selling or managing the sales process of employee listening solutions, with preferred experience at a global employee survey provider.
  • Strong understanding of the Employee Engagement industry and competitive landscape
  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting or internal HR capacity.
  • Proven presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Executive presence and the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Willingness to travel up to 2x a month for conferences or sales calls

Why Awardco:
  • We have a revolutionary, client-approved product.
  • One of the fastest growing companies in the nation: 3x Inc. 500, 2x Deloitte Technology Fast 500, 2x Mountain West Capital Network Fast 100, 3x Fast 50 (Utah Business), and 3x UV50 Fastest Growing Companies (BusinessQ), to name just a few.
  • Great Place to Work certified, ranked in Inc. Best Workplaces, one of the Best and Brightest companies to work for, and ranked on the Salt Lake Tribune's Top Workplaces.
  • Backed by renowned investors, both local and national.
