Job description

Crystal Assembly Operator PRIMARY FUNCTION: Prepare, assemble and inspect quartz crystals and associated materials for production, ensuring all components meet precise specifications and quality standards. REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: โ€ข Assemble a wide assortment of products/components by reading and interpreting parts lists, drawings and written and verbal instructions. โ€ข Perform comprehensive quality assurance procedures and inspections to ensure compliance with work instructions and drawings.

โ€ข Positions components by hand or by utilizing a variety of small hand tools, such as crimpers, pliers, tweezers, or screw drivers. โ€ข Operate simple equipment occasionally. โ€ข Provide support across different workstations to meet productions demands.

โ€ข Tasks performed in Clean Room/Chem Lab require specific PPE to be worn properly at all times. โ€ข Requires strong concentration and focus for repetitive tasks combined with the ability to shift attention between varied duties. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: โ€ข High School Diploma or GED is required โ€ข Basic computer skills, including the ability to work within a variety of Microsoft Office products and other computer software applications โ€ข Demonstrated proficiency in basic mathematics and the ability to read and interpret measuring devices to perform assembly tasks.

โ€ข Ability to read and comprehend work instructions โ€ข Prior experience in a lab or clean room, use of a microscope, and familiarity with various chemicals is a plus.
