Job description

Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.


We seek an Internal Engagement Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and be an excellent communicator.


Specifically:

  • Conceptualize, design, and execute employee events to enhance company culture and recognition
  • Manage logistics, venue, and vendors
  • Administer employee feedback surveys and assist with new employee onboarding
  • Partner with HR and leadership to improve employee engagement strategies
  • Various candidate sourcing activities to support pipeline and other staffing projects
  • Assist in other HR and administrative support functions


Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Human Resources is required
  • Experience utilizing Indeed and other job boards, preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
