Job description

Join Us in Building the Future of Home Robotics

At Sunday, we’re developing personal robots to reclaim the hours lost to repetitive tasks. We’re focused on an ambitious goal to make generalized robots broadly accessible, enabling households to take back quality time.

We have spent the last 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating our technology. We are now seeking passionate individuals to join us in the next phase of our growth. If you are ready to apply your skills to the forefront of robotics innovation, we’d love to hear from you.

What to Expect

As Global Supply Manager, you’ll lead strategic sourcing of critical components and assemblies for Memo, Sunday’s first product. You’ll partner with the Head of Supply Management in Asia and with US-based leaders across Hardware, Manufacturing, NPI, and Finance to build a resilient, sustainable supply base. You will own the commercial and operational success of Sunday’s supply chain as we scale from prototype to production volume.

What You’ll Do
  • Define and own the category strategies for the critical components and assemblies
  • Lead RFx processes and negotiate commercial agreements, including piece pricing, tooling/NRE, and key contractual terms
  • Manage business risk through assessment of capacity, geopolitics, logistics, and supplier technology and commercial roadmaps. Actively partner with the engineering team to identify/mitigate supply and demand challenges
  • Partner with Hardware and Electrical Engineering on component, module, and assembly-level part decision in early design phase to implement the Design for Supply Chain (DfSC) strategy to ensure that the product designs are highly aligned with supplier capabilities, material availability and cost target
  • Work closely with Supply Chain in Asia to align on pricing , capacity allocation, and technical issues
  • Build the processes, templates, and reports for Sunday’s US supply chain function need
  • Achieve or exceed cost target through should-cost model, industry and market analysis and well-planned negotiations
What You’ll BringMust Haves:
  • 5+ years in sourcing or procurement in high volume consumer electronics
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional work-streams with engineering, operations, finance, legal and NPI teams to drive alignment and execute sourcing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally often with short notice
Nice to Haves:
  • Existing relationships with or experience working with US-based IC distributors and vendors such as Avnet, Arrow, Digi-Key, Mouser, or direct semiconductor vendor relationships
  • Technical fluency in at least one semiconductor category - MCUs, PMICs, camera, motor controllers, IMUs, or connectivity ICs
  • Import/export compliance knowledge (ITAR, export controls, dual-use electronics)
  • Mandarin proficiency can be a plus

At Sunday Robotics, we’re building technology shaped by real people — curious, creative, and diverse. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.

Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. Studies show that women and underrepresented groups often hold back unless they meet 100% of the criteria — we don’t want that to be the reason we miss out on great talent.
