Position Summary
Davcor Aviation Services is seeking an experienced Aviation Site Manager to oversee day-to-day aircraft maintenance operations at an assigned location. This leadership role is responsible for operational execution, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and regulatory compliance in a safety-sensitive, FAA-regulated environment.
The ideal candidate is a decisive leader who thrives in high-tempo operations, communicates effectively across all levels, and leads by example.
Key Responsibilities
Run an Effective Operation
  • Lead and coordinate daily site operations, including scheduling, hiring, training, and inventory management
  • Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and team members across departments
  • Conduct daily meetings with the Director of Operations
  • Administer company policies and procedures consistently
  • Provide employees with the tools, resources, and training necessary to meet or exceed operational performance goals
  • Involve team members in identifying and implementing operational improvements
Deliver Quality Service & Customer Satisfaction
  • Resolve customer service and operational issues promptly and professionally
  • Support operations during peak or irregular periods as needed
  • Spend the majority of time in the operation, engaging directly with employees and customers
  • Prepare and review customer correspondence and operational communications
Meet Profitability & Cost Control Goals
  • Develop and monitor budgets and spending across approximately 10-15 aircraft work orders at a time
  • Administer quotes and bids for various projects
  • Actively identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities
  • Manage payroll with a focus on minimizing overtime
  • Monitor attendance, lost time, and enforce attendance policies
Ensure Operational Compliance
  • Investigate discrepancies and compile statistical data for compliance reporting
  • Prepare delay analysis and irregularity reports
  • Ensure all employees complete required initial and recurrent training
  • Maintain accurate records for training, Standard Operating Procedures, and compliance documentation
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to perform under demanding and stressful conditions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, sound judgment, and accountability
  • Strong administrative and analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to work all shifts, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require
Experience
  • Aviation Maintenance: Minimum of 3 years (Required)
License / Certification
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (Preferred)
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Safety-sensitive, FAA-regulated operational environment
  • Combination of office, hangar, ramp, and aircraft settings
  • Schedule may include:
    • 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
    • Day and night shifts
    • Weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as required
