JOB TITLE: Support Engineering Data Specialist 2
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $45.75/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Not required to start; must be able to obtain a Secret clearance if needed

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Develop clear, accurate technical orders from engineering data and specifications.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, test results, and technical data.

  • Ensure compliance with required formats, standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to validate technical content.

  • Use document authoring tools to create and maintain documentation.

  • Review and edit content for quality, accuracy, and consistency.

  • Manage timelines and coordinate inputs to meet publication deadlines.

  • Perform quality assurance checks for compliance with technical/editorial standards.

  • Provide technical support and clarification to users as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance if needed

  • 4+ years of experience in aircraft mission maintenance, operations, training systems, or ground systems.

  • 4+ years of experience with mission aircraft (e.g., E-6, E-3, E-4B, C-32, C-40, or similar).

  • 4+ years of experience using and applying technical publications.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher.

  • Experience with document authoring tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext).
