We Are Looking For

The Account Manager will thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable making outgoing calls, qualifying prospects, following up on leads, and closing sales.


What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Receive and process quotes, orders, pricing, availability, shipping costs, etc.
  • Communicate with customers and process RFQs, POs, Returns, order follow-ups.
  • Negotiate prices with customers for potential orders
  • Effectively communicate with internal departments
  • Work closely with outside sales team including quoting, reports and product availability
  • Recommend products and services that best fit customer needs
  • Review and accurately enter Purchase Orders (Contracts) to ensure customerโ€™s Terms & Conditions, Quality and Customer Specific Requirements
  • Be cooperative, positive, and respectful with customers, supervisors, and co-workers
  • Pursues open non-conforming submittals for disposition with customer
  • Capable of negotiating discounts with customer in order to complete the sale
  • Responsible for maintaining export licensing with international customers
  • Understanding of product both import/export and working with customs brokers
  • Completely read and review purchase orders accurately, comparing information on the purchase order to the quotations to validate order specifics and transfer accurately the full details to sales orders in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelorโ€™s Degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of inside sales experience in the aerospace industry is preferred
  • Proficiency in Quantum is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Track record of achievement
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Special Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
