Job description

Lead where the medicine is dynamic and life outside the emergency department is hard to beat. St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician to serve as assistant facility medical director at North Austin and facility medical director of the affiliated St. David's Pflugerville freestanding ED. Practice in a busy, high-acuity environment while helping lead across two sites, all just minutes from the domain and 15 minutes north of downtown Austin.

  • 1.8 patients per hour
  • 51 hours daily physician + 38 hours APC coverage

Step Into Leadership
  • Serve as AFMD at North Austin and FMD of Pflugerville FSED
  • Partner with North Austin's facility medical director on ED operations and performance

What We're Looking For
  • ABEM/ABOEM board certified
  • 2+ years post-residency EM experience preferred

  • ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (expired accepted)
