Our goal is to build long-term client relationships through excellence in craftsmanship, consistency, and customer care.

What You’ll Do

As a Barber/Hair Stylist at Iron Blade, you’ll be on the floor delivering world-class grooming services and helping create a comfortable, elevated environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide a full range of barbering services:

      • Precision haircuts (men’s, boys, and select women’s)

      • Beard grooming, trimming, sculpting

      • If you have a barbers license, traditional hot shaves, straight razor work

      • Scalp/nape cleans, neck shaves, edge-ups, line-ups

  • Consult with clients on desired styles, offering suggestions in line with their hair type, face shape, and lifestyle

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and shop presentation

  • Upsell retail grooming products (e.g. pomades, beard oils) when appropriate

  • Build rapport and cultivate repeat clientele through friendly, professional service

  • Handle appointment bookings, keep accurate client records, manage rebooking

  • Stay current on barbering trends, techniques, and tools

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a cohesive shop culture

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves / Requirements:

  • Valid cosmetology and/or barber license (in good standing in the state)

  • Proven experience working in a barbershop or salon environment

  • Proficiency in classic and modern barbering techniques (razor, clipper, scissor over comb, fades, tapers, etc.)

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

  • Cleanliness and hygiene mindset; knowledge of proper sanitation practices

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule — weekdays, some evenings, some Saturdays, we are closed on Sundays

  • Passion for grooming, style, and helping clients look their best

Nice to Have / Preferred:

  • Experience with straight razors is a plus, hot towels, and luxury grooming services

  • Social media presence / styling portfolio you can show

  • Retail sales experience in the grooming / men’s care space
