Raba Kistner is seeking a personable and outgoing Project Coordinator to join our Project Control team in El Paso, TX. The Project Coordinator shall, be a results-focused and highly organized professional with expertise in business operations and process coordination, work in a pleasant and professional manner, possess exceptional interpersonal and communications skills with a focus on deadline-driven projects and complex scheduling, type letters, manuscripts; reports and minutes or e-mail; and other tasks assigned by their Project Executive or designated representative. The ideal candidate shall have the following attributes:

  • Have general knowledge or experience working at a commercial construction site and familiarity with the day-to-day operations and vernaculars associated with building construction
  • Be a self starter
  • Have strong organization, spelling, and grammar skills
  • Works well under pressure and quick decision maker

Other duties for this position include:

  • Assist with project proposal preparation for additional services.
  • Assist with onboarding of new project team members.
  • Prepare meeting minutes and miscellaneous project correspondence.
  • Work with Project Managers to create work plans, manage documents, and manage deliverables.
  • Coordinate and manage all preparations for project meetings and event schedules to include managing food and beverages service, managing meeting locations, coordinate IT/AV needs, etc.
  • Coordinate complex calendars management for the project executive team.
  • Manage office equipment and maintenance, order supplies.
  • Coordinate staff members with work assignments, as required.
  • Set up and maintain project folders & cloud filing system (SharePoint).
  • Maintain and update project directories.
  • Coordinate and substitute for Project Data Analysis, when required.
  • Assist with monthly invoicing for the project.
  • Assist with management and internal communication of client and other project consultants.
  • Support and assist with project goals and requirements as outlined in PC contract with the Owner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience on an active large commercial construction project is preferred.
  • Possess a valid driverโ€™s license within the applicable jurisdiction and meet companyโ€™s auto insurability requirements.

Shall be mature, responsible, dependable, and accurate individual. Shall have the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks. Works well with all types and levels of people, both inside and outside of the firm. Persistent, tactful and enthusiastic. Works well without close supervision. Good oral and written communications. Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and work with cloud-based construction software preferred. Ability to proof/edit self-generated documents for accuracy.
