Automotive Service Technician

Rifle, CO | Full-Time | $30–$40 per flagged hour

About the Role
This position is based in Rifle, CO. Rochestser and surrounding area applicants must be willing to relocate. Our shop offers a supportive team, flat-rate pay, and a modern, trusted environment serving Garfield County, Rio Blanco, and Mesa counties.

We’re seeking an Automotive Service Technician with strong gas and diesel diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and ASE certification (or willingness to certify). Mentoring junior techs is a plus.

Compensation & Schedule

  • $30–$40 per flagged hour (based on experience and certifications)

Requirements

  • 5+ years professional automotive repair experience (gas and diesel)
  • ASE Certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment and software
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Own professional-grade tools
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Duramax, Powerstroke, or Cummins
  • Familiarity with Asian and domestic vehicles
  • Colorado emissions repair experience (bonus, not required)
