Semi Skilled Technician/Apprentice ( Union 701)

Peru , IL


Haw Auto Group is dynamic and rapidly growing automotive group with multiple dealership locations across Illinois. As a trusted name in the industry, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations, from sales and service to customer satisfaction and community engagement. As a Semi-Skilled Technician you will repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Mopar standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency with dealership and/or Mopar standards
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
  • Inspect and test new vehicles, recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
  • Local 701 union shop. Fast paced / good traffic flow
