We are looking for the right players to join our team, we have very competitive wages starting around $24 all the way up to $45 depending on experience. Areas of interest we have is technicians with experience and if their skill sets and credentials allows for a Mainline, UVI, Recall or Alignment, front end, Brake Technician. Pay is based off experience, flagged hours, capabilities and credentials.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repair work in accordance with company and manufacturer quality standards and procedures.

AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN DUTIES/ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:

  • Inspect vehicles
  • Diagnose problems
  • Perform adjustments and calibrations
  • Replenish fluids, disassemble, and reassemble vehicle components
  • Repair and replace parts
  • Identify additional work required
  • Road test vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification
  • Use independent judgment to make decisions requiring the application of procedures and practices to specific work situations
  • Document work and hours per manufacturer and/or company policies.
  • Additional tasks as assigned

AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Prefer 2 years manufacture experience but will consider and discuss applicants with 2 years other line technician experience.
  • Tech School Graduates- For students coming out of tech school we have an apprentice program
  • Certifications as appropriate for individual position. (i.e. Technical Certificate, ASE certificate)
  • Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities
  • Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must pass drug test 

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

  • Work is generally performed indoors but occasionally is performed outdoors. Indoors work is in a shop environment, and may have exposure to cool or hot conditions, elevated noise levels, fumes, and dust. Outdoors work is exposed to ambient heat and cold, and to sun, rain, and other weather conditions.
