Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Satisfaction
  • Champion a customer-first sales culture focused on transparency, respect, and value
  • Ensure a consistent, professional, and pressure-free buying experience from first contact through vehicle delivery
  • Monitor and improve CSI, online reviews, and customer retention metrics
  • Handle escalated customer concerns promptly and fairly to protect customer trust and dealership reputation
  • Ensure sales processes clearly explain pricing, vehicle features, warranties, and next steps

Sales Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and mentor sales consultants to deliver high-quality customer interactions

Sales Performance & Accountability

  • Use performance data and customer feedback to improve sales processes

Process, Transparency & Compliance
  • Enforce consistent use of CRM and dealership sales processes to ensure timely customer follow-up
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, OEM, and dealership policies
  • Promote transparency in pricing, documentation, and product presentation
  • Collaborate closely with F&I to ensure a smooth, customer-friendly transition and delivery experience

Inventory Presentation & Collaboration
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, accurately priced, and professionally merchandised for customers
  • Work with marketing to ensure online listings accurately reflect vehicle condition and features
  • Coordinate with service and reconditioning teams to ensure inventory is customer-ready

Qualifications
Required
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an automotive sales manager or senior dealership sales leader
  • Strong understanding of business management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis
  • Ability to interpret financial statements, gross profit reports, and performance dashboards
  • Demonstrated success managing teams, processes, and customer experience metrics
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills

Preferred
  • Experience in a high-volume or multi-rooftop dealership
  • OEM training or certifications
  • Demonstrated success improving customer satisfaction and retention
  • Track record of improving CSI, retention, and profitability simultaneously
