Job Summary
 We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Classic American Automotive Car Parts Manager to oversee parts operations for our shop specializing in classic American muscle cars. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts management, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for classic vehicles. 

As the Automotive Parts Manager, you will be responsible for duties ranging from managing service technicians to tracking inventory. You will use your negotiation skills to secure the best prices on inventory and ensure a consistent balance between supply and demand. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized and have in-depth knowledge of automotive parts. 
 
  • Key Responsibilities

    • Manage inventory of classic American automotive parts, including ordering, stocking, and tracking usage.
    • Source hard-to-find and specialty parts through vendor networks and industry contacts.
    • Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery.
    • Oversee parts counter operations, assisting technicians and customers in identifying and acquiring needed components.
    • Develop and implement systems for accurate inventory control and reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding purchasing, invoicing, and returns.
    • Support customer service by providing expertise and product knowledge.
    • Supervise and train parts staff (if applicable).
