Job Summary:
Foxconn Industrial Internet (Fii) is a leading design and manufacturing service provider seeking an experienced IT Manager for their San Jose facility. This role involves overseeing IT operations, managing personnel, and ensuring the seamless function of production environments and office network systems while enforcing global IT standards.
Responsibilities:
• Lead IT Operations & Personnel: Manage daily IT department operations, including desktop support and infrastructure. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals.
• Ensure IT Standards & Compliance: Implement and enforce global IT standards, policies, and procedures across all networks, platforms, and service operations. Conduct audits to ensure strict adherence.
• Manage IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-speed networks (LAN/WAN), servers, virtualization, data centers, and ensure robust and secure wireless connectivity.
• Support Production & Office Systems: Ensure IT effectively supports manufacturing operations and optimizes office network performance, minimizing downtime.
• Project Management: Lead IT projects from planning to completion, collaborating with engineering and production teams to drive critical IT solutions.
• Customer Interaction & Requirements Gathering: Act as a primary IT contact for internal departments and external customers. Proactively engage stakeholders to gather detailed IT requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into actionable IT solutions that align with evolving business needs.
• Security & Business Continuity: Implement security policies, conduct audits, and develop disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3-5 years in IT management within a high-tech manufacturing or R&D environment.
• Proven experience overseeing IT personnel and managing daily IT department operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing IT systems and critical production support.
• Experience in managing complex IT infrastructure, including enterprise networks and wireless solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and enforcing IT standards and ensuring compliance.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP (or equivalent) are strongly preferred.
