Position Description

The CRM Specialist supports the global rollout, adoption, and ongoing optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) at Applied Medical. This role is focused on bridging business needs and CRM platform capabilities, helping teams across the organization use Dynamics 365 more effectively to improve the customer journey and support data-driven decisions. The CRM Specialist works alongside cross-functional partners in commercial, marketing, IT, and operations to support platform adoption, data quality, and reporting needs. This role is well-suited for professionals with a background in CRM support, business analysis, or Dynamics 365 administration who are looking to grow their impact within a global organization. Professionals with experience in CRM operations, customer data management, or business systems support will find this role a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, localization, and testing phases of the global Microsoft Dynamics 365 rollout in coordination with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Marketing, IT, Business Information, Contracting, and Operations.
  • Assess current business processes, identify workflow inefficiencies, and recommend improvements within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform to enhance the customer journey.
  • Develop user stories and training materials in coordination with education teams to support CRM adoption across global functions.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders that improve platform usability and customer outcomes.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that deliver actionable intelligence to business stakeholders, supporting strategic decisions across the organization.
  • Support data governance efforts in partnership with the IT team, helping maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data privacy regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through AI-driven automation within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and contribute to global data requirements that enable CRM AI capabilities.
  • Present insights, workflow findings, and platform recommendations to relevant stakeholders in support of continuous improvement efforts.

  • Supporting global adoption of Microsoft Dynamics 365 by delivering clear training materials, timely communication, and consistent follow-through with end users across functions.
  • Translating business needs into practical CRM workflow improvements that measurably enhance the customer journey and reduce process inefficiencies.
  • Producing reports and dashboards that give stakeholders clear, actionable visibility into platform performance and customer data.
  • Building reliable working relationships across a matrix environment to keep CRM initiatives moving forward and aligned with business priorities.
  • Contributing to data governance efforts that maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance across large-scale data initiatives.
  • Demonstrating a growth mindset by expanding platform knowledge, taking on new responsibilities, and contributing to the long-term development of the CRM function at Applied Medical.

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Two or more years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, including platform administration, configuration, or end-user support.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related field.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional or matrix environment with demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and support shared objectives.
  • Strong analytical orientation with the ability to connect CRM data and user experience metrics to business outcomes.
  • Clear communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders with organized rationale and practical next steps.
  • Familiarity with data governance practices and data privacy requirements, including GDPR.

Preferred

The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • Experience within the life sciences, medical device, or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Experience developing CRM training materials or supporting technology adoption initiatives.
  • Exposure to AI-driven automation capabilities within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
