Automotive Dealership Cashier / Receptionist

The Automotive Dealership Cashier / Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers and visitors at the dealership. This dual-role position requires professionalism, accuracy, and excellent communication skills. The cashier is responsible for processing customer payments efficiently and accurately, while the receptionist handles phone calls, greets visitors, and supports administrative tasks to ensure smooth front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Front Desk
  • Greet customers and visitors promptly and courteously.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Provide information and assistance to customers in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk and reception area.
Cashier Duties
  • Accurately process service, parts, and vehicle sales payments.
  • Balance cash drawer and prepare daily cash reports and deposits.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change due to customers.
  • Reconcile credit card and cash transactions at the end of the day.
Administrative Support
  • Assist with filing, scanning, and data entry tasks.
  • Maintain appointment schedules for service or sales teams.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Support office staff with general clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications Experience & Education
