Job description

Building Automation Project Manager

My client is a top notch Building Automation and Energy Management company that is actively seeking a Building Automation Project Manager. Duties include:

  • Focused on managing BAS retrofit, upgrade, and new install projects for commercial/industrial buildings in the Phoenix area.
  • We are ideally looking for someone with 10 years working on BAS in some fashion, but we’d accept close to that or tangential experience.
  • Ideally 5 years managing BAS projects but close to that would work.
  • The system they’ve worked with or managed projects with doesn’t matter too much as long as it’s been in building controls. We primarily use Niagara so knowledge of it is helpful but not required.
  • They don’t have to know the systems inside and out to program them/install, but must have worked on projects with BAS systems, knowledge of what they do, how they work, how to discuss them, what goes into a project.
  • We’re looking for someone that likes to be hands on with their projects, getting on-site, supervising the install technicians. To give you an idea, 50% office/50% in field is about what they can expect. That varies though, sometimes 75% in field or 75% of the week in office and vice versa.

Send a resume to and/or call Dan Gallagher at for a prompt response!
