Position Summary

We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to support the internal cloud infrastructure processes and lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of products that shape how internal users order and consume infrastructure through automated, self-service platform experiences. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, engineering, cloud platforms, and enterprise infrastructure operations. The Staff Product Manager will own complex, multi-team backlogs, partner closely with engineering leaders, and serve as a trusted bridge across engineering, architecture, and stakeholder teams.

This is a senior individual contributor role that requires strong technical fluency, cross-functional influence, and the ability to connect near-term execution to broader platform and organizational goals. The Staff Product Manager is expected to create clarity in ambiguous environments, simplify complex dependencies, and drive product outcomes across a major area of cloud engineering work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Drive product vision and partner with engineer leadership to define strategy for products that shape how internal users order and consume infrastructure, aligning roadmap decisions to infrastructure engineering priorities.
  • Roadmap & Backlog Ownership: Own complex, cross-functional roadmaps and backlogs across multiple engineering teams simplify dependencies and maintain focus on high-value outcomes.
  • Infrastructure Automation Product Management: Lead product direction for automated and self-service platform experiences that expose infrastructure capabilities to internal users through various channels including AI agents.
  • Stakeholder & Engineering Alignment: Partner with engineering, architecture, platform, and infrastructure stakeholders to shape priorities, resolve tradeoffs, and maintain cohesive product direction.
  • Execution & Delivery: Balance short-term execution with longer-term product evolution; surface risks early and help teams maintain delivery momentum.
  • Product Discipline & Operating Rigor: Strengthen prioritization, decision-making, and execution through clear product practices, frameworks, and operating mechanisms.


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience in enterprise environments, including leading product strategy, roadmap development, and execution for complex enterprise products or platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud, platform, infrastructure, developer platform, or related product domains.
  • 3+ years of experience working across multi-cloud and hybrid environments, including cloud platforms and tooling such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, or related automation practices.
  • 3+ years of experience with infrastructure automation
  • 3+ years of experience partnering across engineering, architecture, and platform stakeholders in highly matrixed environments.
  • 3+ years of experience working in an agile framework and using tools such as: Jira, Rally, or AHA .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with self-service platform products, internal developer platforms, or infrastructure provisioning and workflow automation capabilities.
  • Experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations).

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Relevant cloud or product certifications preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$106,605.00 - $260,590.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
