SunSource's Industrial Business Unit focuses on industrial hydraulic, pneumatic and automation components and systems for industrial OEMs and MRO industries. We are currently looking for an Automation Product Manager in Michigan. 

Position Description

Position Description: The Automation Product Manager will penetrate the market within the Industrial Business Unit and achieve established goals in terms of sales, gross margin generation, and specific company initiatives within the Automation product lines.  Also, provides technical assistance to field Account Managers.

  • Evaluate industry trends and new technology
Required Qualifications
  • BS in ME/IE/EE or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years experience in a technical role for automation systems.  Previous experience working for a distributor preferred.
  • Specific knowledge and experience with design, manufacture and integration of automated manufacturing, material handling, assembly and test equipment and mechanical and electrical design concepts and motion control.  
  • Ability to develop creative cost-effective solutions to meet customer's needs. 
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and AutoCAD, PLC Programming and troubleshooting.
