Job Description

The AI & Automation Finance Analyst will play a key role in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance processes through the thoughtful use of automation, AI tools, and productivity-enhancing solutions within the Global FP&A Center of Excellence. This individual will identify opportunities to streamline recurring finance activities, reduce manual effort, and improve the quality and consistency of outputs across reporting, analysis, and documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of automation solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot and AI Assistants.
  • Use AI tools and digital solutions to improve efficiency in financial reporting, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Automate recurring Excel workflows, reporting templates, data validation, and analysis routines where possible.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess business processes, and identify automation opportunities.
  • Develop prompts, scripts, templates, and lightweight internal tools that help finance team members work faster and more consistently.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of standardized operating procedures for finance processes.
  • Partner with finance team members to design practical workflow improvements that can be adopted broadly across the organization.
  • Support the advancement of automation governance frameworks, standards, and Global FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE) practices.
  • Lead one of the Finance processes for Global Commercial Organization.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance or a related field required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data, business analysis, automation, or related technical roles.
  • Daily proficiency using AI tools required.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to automate tasks, analyze data, and generate financial insights.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot and AI assistants such as Anthropic Claude, GPT, Gemini.
  • Strong interest in automation, AI, and process improvement.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with workflow optimization.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical, efficient solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Must be local to Illinois. Role is hybrid with 3 days in the office required.
