JOB SUMMARY:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computerized building automation systems.
  • Perform DDC controls programming functions and troubleshooting.
  • Act as liaison to customer, and electrical installer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preventative Maintenance Tasking (Database Back-ups, Control System Analysis, Network Analysis and Optimization, Central Equipment Controls Performance Testing, Customer Training)
  • Controls Programming (BACtalk and Delta)
  • Execute Service Quoted Projects
  • Troubleshoot DDC Control and Mechanical Systems
  • Replace Failed Components as necessary
  • Execute Upgrades
  • Consistent Communications (with Supervisor, Service Coordinator and Account Managers)
  • Financial Accountability (Service Agreements and Service Quoted Projects)
  • On-call rotation

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of HVAC DDC Control Theory & Applications
  • Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Computer hardware and software skills
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Strong communications and interactive skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Lift, carry, and move equipment and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated or hard-to-reach areas
  • Work in tight or confined spaces for extended periods
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
