Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing complex software solutions, deploying packaged applications and integrating them with larger systems & 3rd party solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Manhattan Associates' - Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) solution and a proven track record of successful software implementations in Supply Chain domain.

What you will do:

  • Implement MAWM technical configuration controls, extend MAWM functionality, support MAWM production as well as integrate Manhattan with other systems (Host, MHE, 3rd Party systems etc.)
  • Leverage programming skills to design and implement efficient and reliable digital solutions.
  • Write code, develop software components, and implement functionalities according to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to design and define the technical architecture and infrastructure required for the digital solutions.
  • Contribute to technical discussions, propose design patterns, and make architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Test own code and participates in the overall quality assurance process.
  • Write and execute unit tests, conduct code reviews, debug, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability and stability of digital solutions.
  • Participate in agile or other development methodologies, attend meetings, and contribute to project planning and progress tracking.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, user guides, and other relevant documentation.
  • Seek opportunities for professional development and growth, such as attending conferences, taking online courses, or participating in relevant training programs.


Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of software development experience designing, architecting and deploying scale-able applications including:
    • 3+ years of implementation and support experience with Manhattan Associates' - Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM), Manhattan Integration Framework (MIF) and Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI).
    • 3+ years of experience in building solutions using Java, Python or other similar object-oriented programming languages.
    • 3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred).
    • 2+ years of experience with Automation technologies (e.g., Jenkins etc.)
    • 2+ years of experience in Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
    • 1+ years of experience in PL/SQL.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience in web services, microservices and service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience in automation, DevOps, and associated build /deployment CI/CD pipelines with a passion for creating efficiency.
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, OR, equivalent work experience in supply chain domain.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$64,890.00 - $173,040.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
