We are looking for a Transmission Builder to join our team. We are a growing company and if you come ready to give it your all, your hard work will pay off.

COMPENSATION: $30-$50/ Hour DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

We are looking for a transmission rebuilder with at least five years of experience who can work in our Phoenix stores. Are you a professional, detailed oriented, self-motivated rebuilder who is skilled in automatic transmissions? Do you have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic? We would love to talk with you!!

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Disassembly and assembly of automatic transmissions
  • Transmission tear down and diagnosis
  • Parts pricing and ordering
  • Transmission troubleshooting
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Possess current, valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Prior experience working on Transmissions
  • At least five years of experience building common 4, 5 and 6 speed automatic transmissions.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Transmission Builder will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside.

The Transmission Builder must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

  • Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
  • Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
  • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Hear and speak
  • Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
