  • Description:<\/span>Responsible for designing and developing a product\/product family. Ensures production procedures efficiently utilize materials and personnel. Tests finished product for quality purposes and recommends changes to product specifications as necessary.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Requirements:<\/span>

    Candidate is responsible for developing and validating Automatic Transmissions. <\/span><\/p>

    The Engineer will work closely with other engineer groups within the transmission organization, including \- but not limited to \- transmission hardware, software, calibration, thermal management, engine, driveline engineering and other powertrain and vehicle organizations.<\/span><\/p>


    <\/span><\/p>

    <\/span>Duties consist of:  root cause analysis, hands\-on vehicle evaluations\/diagnosis, application of diagnostic tools\/equipment, collecting and analyzing data, reporting and documenting issues,  presenting information both written and verbal , participating in\/facilitating meetings, directing drivers, mechanics and technicians.<\/span><\/p>


    <\/span><\/p>

    <\/span>The Candidate will also be responsible for writing, reviewing and critiquing Automatic Transmission service manuals and  Automatic Transmission sections of the vehicle owner's manuals.<\/span><\/p>

    Requirements:<\/u><\/b><\/p>

    \-BSME, BSEE or Engineering degree (no Technology degree) with 5\-8 years of automatic transmission experience. <\/b><\/p>

    Candidate must have excellent communication and presentation skills as well as experience with basic PC software (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project). <\/p>

    Candidate must be highly motivated, self\-directed, have the ability to manage multiple complex projects, and have a positive attitude. <\/p>

    Travel and Driving Notes:<\/span><\/u><\/strong>
    <\/p>

    Will be required to drive a company car.  A valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record.       <\/span><\/p>

    <\/p>

    Will be required to travel domestically and internationally (Canada) up to 20%<\/span><\/p><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/body>\n<\/html>
