Job description

Sentinel Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Supply Technician (Site Lead) to support Hazardous Material Supply Operations (HMSO) at Fort Bliss, Texas. The Site Lead will oversee daily hazardous material warehouse and supply operations supporting Army logistics readiness requirements. The individual will serve as the contractor’s on-site lead responsible for operational oversight, customer coordination, workload management, reporting, environmental compliance, and personnel accountability.

The Site Lead will ensure hazardous materials are properly received, stored, tracked, inventoried, and issued in accordance with Army regulations, environmental standards, and installation procedures. The individual will also ensure contractor personnel comply with all safety, security, and training requirements outlined within the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead daily HMSO warehouse and hazardous material support operations.
  • Supervise contractor personnel assigned to the HMSO operation.
  • Coordinate directly with Government CORs, LRC personnel, and installation customers.
  • Receive, inspect, verify, store, issue, and track hazardous materials.
  • Ensure accurate inventory accountability and transaction processing.
  • Maintain operational records, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Army environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Support quality control, inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure all personnel complete required HAZWOPER, TARP, SAPR, safety, and environmental training.
  • Maintain awareness of workload fluctuations and adjust operations accordingly.
  • Support inventory reconciliation and operational reporting requirements.
  • Ensure proper use of Government systems and logistics databases.
  • Support phase-in and phase-out activities as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Army supply, warehouse, logistics, or hazardous material operations.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Experience working within Army logistics environments.
  • Knowledge of hazardous material handling and storage procedures.
  • Experience with inventory accountability and warehouse operations.
  • Working knowledge of Army automated logistics systems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain installation access.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior military logistics experience.
  • Experience supporting LRC or Sustainment operations.
  • Experience with GCSS-Army or similar logistics systems.
  • HAZWOPER certification.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience managing hazardous material programs.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in warehouse environments for extended periods.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.

Security / Compliance Requirements

  • Must comply with all installation access requirements.
  • Must complete all required Government and company training.
  • Must comply with Occupational Reliability Program (ORP) requirements if applicable.
