Hexcel is currently seeking an Oven/Autoclave Operator for our Pottsville, PA, USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Individual will be able to function in all phases of oven/autoclave operation, providing bonding operators with necessary tooling, tables and cars.
  • Coordinate with bonding operators all work going in and out of ovens/autoclaves and assist with moving tools into the staging area.
  • Responsible for loading/unloading ovens/autoclaves, hookups and monitoring, equipment operation, and documentation. Verify that all tools are connected to vacuum and perform a leak check.
  • Prepare oven/autoclave for loading/unloading by performing procedures as documented.
  • A full understanding of all controls and recording equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing
  • Comprehension of Technical Documentation (PO's, Specifications, Blue Prints, etc.)
  • Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function preferred
  • Must be able to maintain a quality delegate stamp or attain and retain a quality delegate stamp
