OUTSIDE SALESPERSON HEAVY EQUIPMENT & TRUCK SALES

Universal Truck Sales is a leading source for new and used Hyundai heavy equipment, Autocar trucks, and a full line of Dura-Haul trailers in Minneapolis. We are currently looking for a motivated and results-driven Outside Heavy Equipment & Truck Salesperson to join our team.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and promoting our portfolio of Hyundai Construction Equipment, all makes and models of commercial trucks, and Dura-Haul trailers. This role requires spending one day a week in the office, with the remainder of the week dedicated to fieldwork within your assigned territory.
 
We offer paid training, management support, and ride-along to ensure your success.

Responsibilities

* Call on prospective customers accounts within assigned territory

* Inside sales-making phone calls, following up with leads, taking walk ins

* Outside sales calls, following up with prospective customers

* Manage Universals sales and operations process to maximize sales and profitability

* Establish and maintain current database of Universals long term customers and prospects

* Meet sales objectives set forth by Universal management

* Always learning new product knowledge related to industry technologies and ongoing manufacture training

Required skills.

* 2 years Commercial Construction Equipment/ Commercial Truck Sales

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Good organizational and time management skills

* High energy level, self-starting and highly motivated

* Driver's license in good standing
