We are seeking a driven and strategic Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing initiatives that support our growing Autocar Parts business. This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, building supplier partnerships, driving cost reduction initiatives, and leading a high-performing sourcing team focused on delivering value across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for parts installed on Autocar trucks, common parts, and private label products supporting our "Heavy-Duty Everything" vision
  • Source new parts at competitive pricing while achieving program targets and business objectives
  • Forecast and manage current part costs while identifying and executing cost reduction opportunities
  • Lead supplier negotiations and support the development of long-term agreements that strengthen Autocar's competitive position
  • Build strong relationships across sales, operations, engineering, manufacturing, and supplier partners
  • Conduct regular vendor reviews focused on cost, service, performance, and growth opportunities
  • Partner with truck manufacturing teams to support both OEM and aftermarket supply strategies
  • Identify new technologies, materials, and components aligned with Autocar's technical roadmap
  • Manage new item setup processes and associate master data
  • Lead and develop a team that includes sourcing specialists, analysts, and master data support personnel

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-10 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, sourcing, or buying within a complex manufacturing environment
  • Proven success leading teams and delivering measurable business results
  • Strong technical aptitude through hands-on experience or technical education
  • Experience using fact-based data and analytics to drive sourcing decisions
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
