Job description

SUMMARY

Locally owned and operated full service classic car restoration shop is looking for a highly skilled and experienced auto upholstery technician. If you are passionate about your craft and enjoy working on cool cars, then this is the job for you. The ideal candidate must be a team player and have experience in making patterns, sewing, and fabricating interiors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete custom auto interiors

Auto interior removal, seat teardown/rebuilding, and installation

Convertible tops

Headliner removal and installation

Carpet removal and installation

Patterning, cutting, sewing and assembly

Foam/Cushion cutting and shaping

Estimating material for incoming jobs


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Running Commercial Sewing Machine

Minimum 5 years experience in automotive upholstery

Leather experience is a MUST

Valid Driver's License required
