Job Summary
The Upholstery Technician is responsible for assembling, upholstering, and finishing furniture according to company quality standards. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to work with various materials and tools to ensure all products meet company specifications.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Upholster furniture frames using fabric, foam, padding, and hardware
  • Measure, cut, stretch, and secure materials accurately
  • Operate upholstery tools such as staple guns, sewing machines, and cutting tools
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and consistency
  • Repair or rework upholstery as needed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
  • Follow safety guidelines and production standards
 
Pay
$16.00 per hour
 
Schedule
  • 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
 
Experience or Skill Requirements
  • Previous upholstery or furniture manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of fabrics, padding, and upholstery techniques
  • Ability to read work orders and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 
Physical / Work Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Frequent bending, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Manufacturing/production environment
