Service Advisor with dealership experience
If you are a natural people-pleaser and a good listener who also happens to love the great outdoors, then we have the perfect job for you. We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our fast-paced environment at Johnson RV. It's more than a Service Advisor, we need an outstanding communicator with a natural positive attitude. A person that has a strong work ethic and values taking ownership of the customer experience. The successful candidate will feel comfortable and confident in greeting customers as they are scheduling appointments and acting as a liaison between customers and service technicians. Must be sales-minded, as it is part of the role. This position will handle a volume of work flow and must be good at multitasking and shifting priorities as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Attitude is everything - greet service department customers promptly and courteously
โ€ข Listen to each customer and clearly articulate needs to technician
โ€ข Provide accurate estimates of repairs / maintenance costs
โ€ข Follow up on repair status to efficiently inform customers
โ€ข Work with manufacturer and file claims in timely manner
โ€ข Notify customers when RV / trailer is ready for pick up
โ€ข Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers
โ€ข Handle minor customer concerns and complaints
โ€ข Keep Service Manager informed of all problems or potential problems
โ€ข Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with dealership standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior service advisor experience is a plus
  • Prior warranty claims submission is a plus
  • Dispatching, customer service experience a plus
