Best-One Tire & Service in Avon is looking for a Level A Auto Mechanic or Automotive Service Technician who wants to do diagnostic work in a well-equipped, team-oriented shop. If you're a skilled, experienced (at least 2 years) tech who takes pride in getting the diagnosis right the first time, we want to talk. What You'll Work On: As a Level A Automotive Service Technician, you'll handle the full scope of passenger vehicle and light truck repair, including:
  • Advanced diagnostics & electrical systems
  • Brake & hydraulic systems
  • Fuel, ignition & emissions
  • Suspension & alignment
  • Air conditioning
  • Exhaust systems

You'll work independently on complex jobs and collaborate with teammates when it counts!
What you will be doing as an Auto Mechanic or Automotive Service Technician:
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on vehicle repair experience
  • ASE certification(s) preferred - if you're working toward them, we'll support that
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Strong diagnostic instincts
  • Comfortable explaining repair needs clearly to customers and teammates
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a physical shop environment
  • Familiar with OSHA safety standards and shop best practices
  • Ability to perform all job functions that require lifting and or carrying single items weighing at least 50 lbs., as well as functions and activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
