Overview
We are seeking a versatile Car-Mechanic/Actor as the subject of a Documentary Commercial. The commercial is a visual portrait on the life of a Mechanic, the day-to-day dealings, with the occasional mention and usage of a flashlight product as their key tool in their tool bag. This is a unique role that combines the hands-on mechanical expertise with the creative thrill of acting and performing.

Not a deal break if you've never acted before, but are willing to learn and try something new. Highly MANDATORY that you have prior experience as a Mechanic.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various mechanical equipment - in front of the camera.
  • Willing to do a sit-down interview, and share details on your life as a Mechanic - in front of the camera.
  • Willing to assist in crafting the most engaging narrative that details your personal story as a Mechanic as authentically as possible - with the key product/tool in mind.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Car Mechanic
  • Has access to an auto-body shop or garage where we can conduct and film the interview portion of the commercial - Preference, not mandatory.
  • Excellent speaking and communication skills.
  • Ability to teach basic mechanical concepts in front of the camera.
  • Energetic personality with a passion for the technical craftsmanship of being a Mechanic.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as needed
