JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Mechanic Assistant is to assist in a variety of auto and small engine general maintenance and repair routines.
  • Fuel, grease, lubricate autos, and other equipment, service batteries, and other parts.
  • Performs safety inspections on vehicles and equipment; assists in routine repairs.
  • Change oil and repair tires, install and service batteries, spark plugs, light bulbs, fan belts, and other simple mechanical parts.
  • Pick up and deliver auto parts, supplies, and vehicles.
  • Repair minor vehicle damage, touch-ups, and clean.
  • Repair and assist in the overhaul of various ground equipment, such as hand and power mowers, tractors, etc.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the shop, such as sweeping, trash, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED required.
Clean, valid driver's license.
Background check and drug screen required.
