Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) / Jiffy Lube is seeking an energetic, people-focused General Manager to lead a fast-paced automotive service center. If you're a strong communicator, team builder, and operational leader, this role is for you!
Position: General Manager
The General Manager oversees daily operations for a single automotive service center, ensuring smooth execution, exceptional customer experience, team development, and overall profitability - all while upholding PVA and Jiffy Lube standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, customer-driven environment.
What You'll Do (High-Impact Responsibilities)
  • Open and close the store while maintaining a clean, organized, professional workspace
  • Hire, train, schedule, and coach team members - including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
  • Drive financial performance: sales growth, profitability, and customer retention
  • Oversee cash handling, register reconciliation, and bank deposits
  • Complete paperwork for sales, cash receipts, and employee records
  • Monitor inventory, prevent shrinkage, and manage supply orders efficiently
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve escalated concerns
  • Assist with automotive maintenance services and operate various vehicle types
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain OSHA and environmental compliance
  • Report workers' compensation claims
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the District Manager

Requirements
  • Valid U.S. driver's license; authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 1+ year of retail service management experience (KPIs, budgeting, calculations)
  • Strong English communication (written and verbal)
  • Ability to use computers, online tools, and documentation systems
  • Ability to stand long periods; lift 50+ lbs.; bend, reach, crawl, climb stairs
  • Comfortable in enclosed or semi-outdoor work environments
  • High school diploma or equivalent
