We're seeking a highly driven VP, Business Developmentwith strong relationships in the automotive dealership industry to continue growing our Auto Dealer Practice and build a profitable book of business. This is an opportunity to leverage an established network, work directly with dealership owners and executives, and deliver specialized solutions backed by a respected industry leader.

Unlike traditional brokerage roles, you'll have access to proprietary niche programs, industry endorsements, strong prospect intelligence, and a highly targeted market, allowing you to focus on building relationships and closing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealership owners, executives, and key decision-makers.
  • Consult clients on risk management, insurance solutions, and cost containment strategies.
  • Achieve and exceed annual new business goals.
  • Manage and expand an existing book of business through retention and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Partner with account management, consulting, and employee benefits teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Advocate for clients with carrier underwriters to secure competitive solutions.
  • Maintain an active pipeline using Salesforce and Salesloft.
  • Represent BevCap at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
  • Travel as needed to support business development and client relationships.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of successful commercial insurance sales experience.
  • Strong network and established relationships within the automotive dealership industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products and risk management concepts.
  • Texas Property & Casualty License (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to perform independently.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
