Auto Body Painter
Distinctive Auto Body & Refinishing is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Painter to join our growing team. We are a premier collision repair center committed to providing high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming damaged or worn vehicles into pristine, visually appealing masterpieces through expert painting techniques. Your work will ensure vehicles not only look their best but also meet the highest quality standards. Days of Operation: (Monday-Friday)
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
  • Mix paints to match color specifications, or vehicles original colors.
  • Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and tint coats.
  • Utilize buffing and polishing techniques to achieve a flawless finish on painted surfaces.
  • Perform detailing tasks such as cleaning, polishing, and finishing to enhance the vehicleโ€™s overall appearance.
  • Collaborate with others to assess vehicle condition and determine the best painting approach.
  • Ensure all work complies with shop standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
What we're looking for:
  • Proven experience in auto body painting within a dealership or auto repair environment is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers, buffing machines, and other relevant equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Effective communication and time-management skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
