We recognize behavioral health providers may have varied experience and training related to ADHD. Our aim is to hire generalists, who will utilize their expertise in treating the mood and anxiety conditions that are highly comorbid with ADHD, while developing a new area of competence in ADHD evaluation and treatment. Clinic Overview:

Our clinical staff is comprised of psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and counselors, working in four locations in Oregon. We offer the flexibility of a private practice model, and with the support of an administrative team composed of intake screening, scheduling, front desk, billing, collections, credentialing, and marketing. We strive to maintain a collaborative, receptive, and welcoming organizational culture.

Autism Specialist - Licensed Psychologist Role Description:

Job Type: Full-time

Reports to: Director of Behavioral Health

Northwest ADHD Treatment Center is seeking full-time Autism Specialist licensed psychologist (licensed in Oregon or license eligible) to join our fun and dynamic private practice.

Ideal candidates will be confident in their ability to evaluate and treat Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as other behavioral, social, emotional, and cultural concerns while integrating information obtained from caregivers, medical providers, and other behavioral health providers. Good communication and ability to collaboratively develop a treatment plan and help individuals implement skills in an effective manner is essential.

The role is full time at one of our Portland area locations.

The Autism Specialist role involves 50% to 100% of direct contact time to be providing Autism Assessments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Autism Assessments
  • Intake evaluations
  • Ongoing treatment
  • Attend weekly treatment team meetings
  • Timely completion of documentation

Optional responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of associates or residents
  • providing training

  • group facilitation

  • Safety committee
Compensation:

Our goal is to be completely upfront and transparent about our compensation! Behavioral providers are compensated on an annual salary model, with performance based raise eligibility calculated twice during the first year of employment, and thereafter annually. Minimum full time salary for Autism Specialist psychologists engaged 100% in autism assessment is $95,208 annually, for completing at least 2.5 Autism Assessments per week on average. Compensation adjusts based on the observed rate of assessments completed per week, up to a maximum of 3.5 evaluations completed per week with a maximum compensation of $138,100. Additional salary compensation is provided for autism assessment specialists who also provide direct supervision for psychologist residents.

Northwest ADHD Treatment Center also provides annual cost of living adjustments that are separate and in addition to performance based raises!
