Job description

Auditor

Location: Denver, CO
Compensation: $100,000 – $115,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Auditor to support audit preparation, coordination, and financial reporting activities for a growing technology company. This role will partner closely with the accounting team and external auditors to ensure audit readiness, maintain GAAP compliance, and assist with schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

The ideal candidate will have public accounting or audit experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate audit requests and submissions between internal teams and external auditors
  • Manage audit request lists and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Review schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for accuracy and GAAP compliance
  • Prepare audit support schedules, reconciliations, and accounting memos as needed
  • Assist with financial statements, footnotes, and process documentation
  • Act as a liaison between auditors and internal departments
  • Support additional audit and accounting projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of accounting and audit experience
  • Public accounting or external audit experience required
  • CPA or CPA-track preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and audit processes
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
