Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business- can be flexible based on relevant experience
  • 3-5+ years of relevant Accounting experience
  • Experience with SouthWare/Great Plains preferred, any Accounting ERP systems
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience: will have 1 Staff Accountant direct report
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
    • Intermediate to advanced in excel 
    • X/V lookups
    • Summits
    • Pivot tables
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition guidelines
  • Experience with reconciliations and audit sign-off processes.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to translate financial data to non-financial stakeholders
  • Decision making- know when to escalate vs what they can handle
