As a Banquet/Meeting Room Attendant, you will play an important role in the overall success of events. Your ability to connect with people in a meaningful way and your hands on attention to detail will both contribute to satisfied and loyal clients.

Responsibilities
  • Set-up, service and clean conference rooms with a high level of detail.
  • Respond to all requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be creative and flexible with meeting special requests.
  • Note changes or additions to banquet event orders and report them to the Event Manager.
  • Assist with ordering and inventory for the meetings department.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in storage areas including securing A/V equipment.
  • Thrive in a fast paced environment and handle last-minute client needs with ease.
  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications
Previous customer service experience and/or food service/fast food experience is required. All applicants must be able to acquire their Food Handler's Certification. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use various forms of technology. This position requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift. You must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
