Position Description: IVCI is a leader in the Audio Visual Integration industry. We provide solutions to corporate, educational, and government markets across the US and the world. Our services aim at achieving client goals by focusing on the desired end user experience. As a leader in the industry, we constantly adapt to new technologies and are looking for qualified individuals to join our growing team to support our efforts.The AV Project Manager will plan, coordinate, implement, and finalize AV and low-voltage integration projects according to client specifications, deadlines, and budget. This role serrves as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle, directing Project Supervisors, Field Engineers, and subcontracted crews to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery.Job Duties:• Responsible for overseeing the efforts of all project activities and personnel throughout the project lifecycle• Review all project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, scope of work, and construction schedule• Acquire a thorough understanding of project requirements and objectives• Facilitate internal and external project kick-off meetings with all key participants• Create and manage the project plan and schedule• Coordinate with the Resource Manager to schedule personnel for all phases of project execution, including submittals, engineering, procurement, fabrication, quality control, shipping, installation, programming, commissioning, testing, training, and close-out documentation• Function as the focal point for internal and external project communication and documentation• Coordinate activities with the general contractor, construction manager, owner, and other trades, as required• Communicate effectively through distribution of weekly status reports to all key project contacts• Manage and monitor labor expenditures of all disciplines and personnel over the course of the project lifecycle, and escalate any issues that may impact profitability• Proactively manage change control and the change order process• Generate or respond to project communications including, but not limited to, requests for information, change orders, room readiness, delay notifications, safety or injury reports, material or inventory manifests, punch lists, field reports, sign-off documents, and warranty information• Regularly inspect the quality of work performed by staff and subcontractors• Ensure all systems meet client objectives, per original design intent and scope of work• Coordinate and/or provide training to the client• Coordinate turn-over and onboarding of the project to the service department when the project concludes• Must be willing to travel to client sites and other IVCi offices as required• Must be able to work independently, managing multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision• Perform any other duties or tasks reasonably required to support project successRequired Qualifications:• Ability to supervise and manage tasks and personnel to meet project objectives• Will possess or acquire a fundamental understanding of AV system functionality and installation processes and techniques• Ability to troubleshoot and engage subject matter experts when needed to resolve conflicts related to delays, technical challenges, or other project-related issues• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD viewing or markup utilities• Ability to generate timely, concise, professional, and effective business correspondence• Ability to read and understand project technical documents, including engineering and architectural drawings, punch lists, schedules, and scopes of work• Ability to create and maintain a project schedule• Ability to interact with employees, customers, and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner• Effective time management and attention to detail• Must be willing to travel to client and job sites as required• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervisionDesired Qualifications:• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is suggested• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification is a desired qualification• 5 Years of Direct AV industry experience $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 Annually
