Job description

Role: Commercial Audio-Visual Project Manager (Design-Build | Hospitality)

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Audio-Visual Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale design-build AV projects within hospitality and commercial environments. This role requires strong project leadership, technical understanding of AV systems, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while delivering projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience managing complex commercial AV projects, with a proven track record in hospitality environments such as hotels, resorts, casinos, restaurants, conference centers, and entertainment venues.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Leadership

  • Manage end-to-end execution of large-scale commercial AV design-build projects

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and risk assessments

  • Coordinate engineering, installation, and commissioning teams

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and general contractors

Design-Build Coordination

  • Collaborate with architects, designers, IT teams, and construction partners

  • Review designs and scopes of work for constructability

  • Manage scope changes, change orders, and value engineering

Construction & Installation Oversight

  • Oversee on-site installation activities and logistics

  • Track progress and proactively resolve issues

Commissioning & Close-Out

  • Lead testing, commissioning, and client acceptance

  • Ensure delivery of documentation, training, and project close-out

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing commercial AV projects

  • Extensive hospitality AV experience

  • Proven success managing large design-build projects

  • Strong understanding of audio, video, control, and networking systems

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification

  • Experience with CAD/Revit drawings

  • Strong vendor and subcontractor management skills
