Exponents Insta USA is a leader in innovative booth design, fabrication, and experiential environments for trade shows and events nationwide. As we expand our capabilities, we are establishing a dedicated Audio-Visual Department to streamline quality, efficiency, and reliability of all AV assets used in client projects across the country.

Position Overview

The AV Department Manager will be responsible for building and managing a newly created AV department from the ground up. This role oversees the maintenance, readiness, quality control, and deployment of all audio, video, LED, touchscreen, and IT equipment. The ideal candidate is technically strong, proactive, highly organized, and experienced in managing AV assets and project workflows in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• AV Asset Management & Quality Control

• Establish and maintain an organized AV department, including inventory, storage layout, and test workstations.

• Implement a standardized Show-Ready QC Process for all AV gear.

• Ensure all equipment is tested, tagged, documented, and ready for deployment.

• Maintain traceability using RFID, asset tracking, and QC documentation.

• Oversee repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor servicing.

• Project Planning & Technical Support

• Lead AV planning for nationwide projects.

• Review technical requirements and propose AV solutions.

• Support project managers with AV documentation and planning.

• Serve as the subject-matter expert for AV questions.

• Field & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors for rentals and repairs.

• Provide troubleshooting nationwide

• Training & Process Development

• Train teams on AV handling and QC procedures.

• Develop SOPs, checklists, and documentation.

• Improve workflow efficiency and quality.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years AV technical experience.

• Experience with trade shows, exhibitions, or live events preferred.

• Strong understanding of IT fundamentals.

• Ability to read technical drawings.

• Hands-on AV setup, testing, and repair skills.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience with LED walls.- Mandatory
