Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Audio Visual Engineer to join a Federal Program located in Alexandria, VA. The Audio Visual Engineer will enhance mission readiness and secure communication capabilities by designing, integrating, and supporting advanced audio-visual systems across classified and unclassified environments. Responsibilities of the Audio Visual Engineer: * Collaborate closely with system administrators, facilities teams, and mission stakeholders to plan, integrate, and maintain AV systems that directly support secure conferencing, command centers, and high-impact communication spaces. * Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring operational continuity within dynamic and secure environments. * Operate within a mission-driven team environment where innovation, responsiveness, and precision are essential to success. * Lead implementation and lifecycle management of AV systems-including video conferencing, projection, display, control systems, and sound reinforcement-to ensure seamless and secure user experiences. * Apply advanced technical skills using platforms such as Crestron, AMX, Extron, Cisco TelePresence, and AV-over-IP technologies to deliver reliable, scalable, and future-focused AV solutions. Qualifications of the Audio Visual Engineer: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * 5+ years of experience in AV engineering, integration, or support-preferably within secure, government, or enterprise environments. * Crestron/AMX programming, Extron systems, Cisco Webex/TelePresence, AV-over-IP technologies, control system design, signal flow analysis, system schematics, and rack building. * Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
