Job description

Lumenous Edge is an employee-first A/V and LED partner built on Midwest grit and a simple belief: there's always a way to get it done. We deliver high-quality LED and audiovisual solutions - from fixed installations to modular and mobile LED rentals nationwide. We pride ourselves on operational excellence, hard work, and delivering value to our clients long after the install.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on, big picture-minded and driven Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our shop and support our growing field teams. This isn’t just a clipboard job; you will be in the trenches with the crew - hiring and training staff, building LED, signs, prepping audio jobs/racks, and physically assisting with LED installations when necessary. If you know your way around AV equipment, know how to run a tight ship, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Daily Operations
  • Lead the Shop: Direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team, ensuring all prep, maintenance, and turnaround tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Team Building: Handle the hiring, onboarding, and training of warehouse staff and shop hands to build a reliable, hard-working crew.
  • Facility Management: Maintain a pristine, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Keeping the shop clean, swept, and hazard-free is a daily priority.
Hands-On Production & Technical Work
  • Custom Fabrication: Assist in building and assembling custom signs and structural components for our fixed and mobile installs.
  • LED & Audio Deployments: Prep, test, and configure LED video walls, processors, and audio packages before they leave the dock.
  • Field Support: Step out of the warehouse as needed to assist the field team with on-site LED installations, audio jobs, and technical troubleshooting.
Inventory & AV Equipment Management
  • Asset Tracking: Manage all incoming and outgoing inventory inside of our ERP, Flex. Pull gear sheets accurately and ensure every cable, case, and panel is tracked.
  • Quality Control (QC): Oversee the testing and maintenance of all audiovisual equipment when it returns from a job. Ensure broken gear is flagged, repaired, or replaced immediately.
  • Process Builder: We don’t believe our systems are perfect and want our next Warehouse Manager to help guide and lead process so we get better everyday. In this position, we expect that as a leader your help drive continuous improvement in our systems.
  • Logistics & Freight: Manage shipping and receiving. Safely load and unload box trucks and trailers, ensuring road cases and rigging hardware are strapped and secured for nationwide transport.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience in an AV warehouse, live event production, or similar technical logistics role, with at least 1 year in a management/leadership capacity.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of commercial AV equipment, specifically modular LED video walls, signal flow, PA systems, and power distribution.
  • Tools & Fabrication: Comfort using standard power tools and assisting with hardware assembly/sign building.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis, stand for extended periods, and push/pull heavy AV road cases.
  • Work Ethic: "Midwest grit" – a proactive, problem-solving mentality with a willingness to jump in and do whatever it takes to support the team.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience driving 16'-26' box trucks and operating a forklift is highly preferred.
What We Offer
  • Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000
  • 5% Profit Share to all employees
  • 100% covered life insurance policy
  • 100% covered disability insurance policy
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 80% option for healthcare, dental and vision coverage
  • An employee-first culture where your hard work is recognized and rewarded not through words, but through actions.
